BROADBAND PACKAGES
ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) transforms an ordinary PSTN
telephone line into a high-speed data line, able to carry data up to
40 times faster than a conventional modem. It works by splitting
the available bandwidth on a line in to two channels; one channel for
voice calls, and a data channel for high-speed Internet connection.
Typically end-users not only demand the high speed split access, but
mainly the access to the service that has predominately driven the development
of broadband to date– the internet. Fundamentally ADSL provides
a mechanism for delivering cost effective Internet connectivity,
proving itself to be a true replacement of leased lines and other Internet
access methods.
